NEED ADVICE?
A tall rectangular hamper in waterproof fabric, held in shape by an internal frame and sized at 60 × 40 × 30 cm for a full 75 litres. Two long fabric handles let you lift it when it is full. It stands against a bedroom wall, in the corner of a bathroom, next to the washing machine or at the end of a child's bed, and it swallows a surprising amount in a small footprint.
Day to day it works as a drop-point: shirts and towels go in as they come off, the whole basket travels to the machine by its handles, and once it is empty it folds flat and slides behind a door or under a bed. Out of laundry season it does duty as a toy box, a blanket store or a catch-all in the hallway. Choose the black or grey quatrefoil print, grey stripes or the grey ombre stripes.
One basket, and the laundry pile finally has somewhere to live.
