NEED ADVICE?
This folding laundry hamper hangs on the wall instead of standing on the floor. It hangs from adhesive wall hooks: press them onto tiles, a painted wall, a door or the side of a wardrobe, slip the metal eyelets over them and the hamper is up, no drilling. At 48 × 36 × 12 cm it stays slim against the wall, so it works in a narrow bathroom, a bedroom corner or behind a door.
Day to day it works like any hamper, only higher up: lift the fold-over lid flap, drop in shirts, socks and towels, and the mesh side window shows at a glance when it is getting full. On wash day take it off its hooks by the two carry handles and bring the whole hamper to the machine. Empty, it folds flat and slides behind a door or into a cupboard. Grey sits quietly against white tiles; beige warms up a wood or stone bathroom.
A simple way to gather the laundry in a room where every square metre counts.
