Teardrop Faux Leather Placemats

Soft shape, two colours, one wipe

These placemats are cut from PU faux leather with a soft cowhide-look grain into a teardrop shape that sits naturally under a round plate. Each mat is a different colour on each side, so the same set can be calm grey one evening and soft blue the next, and the eight colourways run from Light Coffee and Walnut to Sky Gray + Dark Gray and Dark Blue + Yellow.

Day to day they do the quiet work: a hot plate or a mug goes down on the mat instead of the table, a spilt glass stays on the surface, and a damp cloth takes everything off in a few seconds. At 42.5 × 34 cm each mat carries a dinner plate, cutlery and a glass; the set of four dresses a family table in one go.

Why you'll love it

• Two colours in one mat – Flip it over for a second colour, so the table changes mood without a second set.
• Soft teardrop shape – The pebble outline breaks the straight lines of a table and frames each plate.
• Wipe-clean PU leather – Sauce, coffee and water stay on the surface and come away with a damp cloth.
• Generous 42.5 × 34 cm – Room for a dinner plate, cutlery and a glass without crowding the edges.
• Set of four – Four matching mats, ready for a family table or a dinner for friends.

Laid out for breakfast or a long dinner, they keep the table tidy and make clearing up a thirty-second job.
